A new pizza restaurant and bar appears to be in the works in Buckhead.

A building permit application for a project called The Pizza Bar Buckhead details plans for the approximately 1,980-square-foot establishment planned for Bennett Street, off Peachtree Road. The restaurant and bar would be located in a street-level space in a three-story building.

The site is adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia and just north of Piedmont Hospital.

Apparel Brand From California Planned for Buckhead Village

Rails seeks to combine California comfort with European design and sophistication

Rails is proposed for 252 Buckhead Avenue NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The brand sells men’s and women’s apparel, from sweaters and coats to loungewear and swimwear.

Jeff Abrams founded Rails in 2008, inspired to start a brand that blended European style and design with his California roots. Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Gisele Bündchen and Kendall Jenner are fans of Rails, according to the company.

Chicago developer's apartment, retail venture replaces low-rise commercial, condo buildings

The Crane Watch development tracker takes us this week to the streets of Buckhead (not that Streets of Buckhead), where vertical construction is making real progress along East Paces Ferry Road on a project that’s been more than half a decade in the making.

After razing a low-rise commercial building and condo complex last year, Chicago-based CA Ventures is remaking a corner site in Buckhead Village for its next Atlanta high-rise at 340 East Paces Ferry Road.

Plans call for a 22-story building containing 483 luxury apartments, with amenities placed on the 10th floor and a valet-style drop-off area for residents below. The project has risen about 1/3 of its eventual height today.
