Children aged 5-11 will no longer be offered Covid jabs, except those in clinical risk groups, UKHSA confirms

The decision to reduce the number of children who are offered Covid jabs has prompted outcry from parent groups and academics.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said children who had not turned five by the end of last month would not be offered a vaccination, in line with advice published by the UK’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) in February 2022. UKHSA said the offer of Covid jabs to healthy five to 11-year-olds was always meant to be temporary.

CDC Director Admits Agency Gave False Information on COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Monitoring

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has acknowledged publicly for the first time that the agency gave false information about its COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the agency’s director, said in a letter made public on Sept. 12 that the CDC did not analyze certain types of adverse event reports at all in 2021, despite the agency previously saying it started in February 2021.

With the autumn vaccination programme, we aim to prevent serious illness, hospitalisation and death. The risk of becoming severely ill from covid-19 increases with age. Therefore, people who have reached the age of 50 and particularly vulnerable people will be offered vaccination.

People aged 50 years and over will be offered vaccination.

People aged under 50 who are at a higher risk of becoming severely ill from covid-19 will also be offered vaccination against covid-19.

In addition, we recommend that relatives of persons at particularly higher risk accept the offer of vaccination to protect their relatives who are at particularly higher risk.

Why do we need to re-vaccinate?
We have achieved very high population immunity in Denmark. This is due both to the high adherence to the vaccination programme and to many people previously having been infected with covid-19. However, we expect that this immunity will gradually decrease over time. In addition, we know that covid-19 is a seasonal disease and that the number of infections are expected to increase during autumn and winter. We expect that a large part of the population will become infected with covid-19 during the autumn, and we therefore want to vaccinate those having the highest risk so that they are protected from severe illness if they become infected.

Ну а в US не успокоятся, пугая низким уровнем антител и активно замалчивая natural immunity переболевших, пока уже закупленные 170 млн омикроновых доз не вколят половине всего населения. Если получится, конечно. 🙄

В Дании... Дания первая Астра-Зенеку изъяла, которую у нее Канада купила. "Не выбрасывать же". Прокололи первой дозой АЗ, потом перерыв на 4 месяца, потом сказали, опс, вакцину отзываем. Колитесь Файзером или Модерной.
-- А это будет считаться второй дозой?
-- Конечно будет!
Потом Модерна кончилась, а европейцы сказали, нихера, разные вакцины не в счет. Колитесь одинаковыми. И пришлось ставить еще две дозы файзера.
Лично знаю людей, у которых такой компот.

Ну для здешних врачей никакого противоречия нет в том, что люди вынуждены были ставить от 4х до 6и разных "безвредных" шмурдяков. Не умер же. И "после не значит вследствие".
Сам факт этого беспредела на их финансовом благополучии никак не отражается.
